The re:constitution Collegium has selected a group of 20 outstanding scholars and practitioners to become Fellows in the academic year 2021/22. They will enrich the re:constitution network with their experience as lawyers or legal advisors, in teaching and research.
The topics they address in their research projects range from the development of environmental law and the access to rights by migrants to the challenges to European democracies posed by populism, corruption or the restriction of media freedom. The diversity and depth of projects highlights the ongoing necessity to discuss questions of human rights, democracy and the rule of law in Europe and how they can be strengthened.
The group will meet for the first time during the Fellows' Exchange Meeting in Berlin, 26 – 29 October 2021.
