The Fellows are heading to Budapest for their second Fellows’ Exchange Meeting.
We have teamed up with Central European University Democracy Institute to develop a varied programme with invited guests and CEU experts for the Fellows to discuss the relevance of “EU values in everyday life”.
Democracy, the rule of law and the protection of fundamental rights - as set out in Article 2 in the Treaty on European Union - are cornerstones of the European way of life. Many Fellows’ projects deal with aspects, questions and effects related to the increasing pressure on European values in recent years.
This meeting in Budapest will give them the opportunity to reflect on these questions with other experts in light of ongoing academic and political debates.
