We extend a warm and enthusiastic welcome to our new Fellows for the academic year 2025/2026. This year’s cohort brings together 15 extraordinary scholars and practitioners who will engage in a critical and substantiated dialogue between academic inquiry and hands‑on practice on rule of law and democracy across Europe.
Through collaborations with distinguished research and practical institutions in different European countries, our Fellows will pursue diverse and thought-provoking research projects on democracy and the rule of law. Their expertise and perspectives promise to enrich the re:constitution network and contribute significantly to current debates.
This exceptional cohort will come together for their first Fellows’ Exchange Meeting in Berlin from 14 to 17 September 2025. This in-person gathering will mark the official launch of their joint Fellowship journey and largely overlap with the European Rule of Law Conference 2025 hosted by re:constitution. It offers an invaluable platform for Fellows to meet each other, connect with the Advisory Board, Alumni and broader re:constitution network and engage in an inspiring programme of interdisciplinary and interactive sessions.
We look forward to fruitful collaborations with the new Fellows.
